- Nothing is to hard for God...NOTHING!
- In this scripture Jeremiah is looking at the Babylonians who were at the city walls.
- The future did not look good for them.
- They were about to be captured and taken over.
- But God was reassuring Jeremiah that through His power the people would be restored to the land.
- So what situation have you labeled impossible?
- Is there something that you have been dealing with for a long time and you have said, “It can’t change or it won’t ever change?”
- Have you simply accepted the sickness?
- Have you stopped praying for deliverance or victory?
- Have you said it will always be this way?
- Well, to Jeremiah, God revealed Himself as the “Great and mighty God, whose name is the LORD Almighty” (v.18)
- Almighty, that means full of might!
- Full of breakthrough power!
- He goes on to say “Great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds.“ (Jeremiah 32:19)
- Refuse to look at your situation and the conditions from your limited perspective.
- Align yourself with God and ask for His perspective.
- Humble yourself before Him and Follow Him and ask to see what He sees!
- Today He says over your life and your circumstances, “Nothing is to Hard for me!”
- Have a great Wednesday!
“O Sovereign Lord! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!” (Jeremiah 32:17)

“I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken.”(Psalm 62:1, 2 NLT)
- Are you facing circumstances that seem beyond your control? - Be sure of this...it may be out of your control but its not out of God's control! - Get alone with God this morning. - Wait quietly before Him. - Waiting quietly means that you get His perspective. - You see your situation through His eyes. - David says, "He alone is your rock and my salvation." - He ALONE! - That means that you trust completely in Him. - Not money. - Not people. - Not in talking more about the problem. - Not in complaining. - Everything you need comes from Him - He is your fortress ...when you trust in Him, nothing can shake your Peace. - In The Message paraphrase, verse 5-7 says, God, the one and only— I'll wait as long as he says. Everything I hope for comes from him, so why not? He's solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, An impregnable castle: I'm set for life. My help and glory are in God —granite-strength and safe-harbor-God— So trust him absolutely, people; lay your lives on the line for him. God is a safe place to be. - Lay your lives on the line for Him! - Give up on your own methods, strategies and plans. - Surrender your own ways of fixing things. - Make it God and God alone. - Wait on Him. - Trust in Him. - Rely on Him. - Ask yourself, today, in what ways am I not trusting in God? - What areas of my life am I not waiting on Him? - Then whatever it is - surrender it to Him. - Don't spend any more of your energy worrying. - Everything you hope for comes from Him, anyway. - He is your source. - Victory comes from Him alone! - Have a great Wednesday! “I told them many things while I was with them in this world so they would be filled with my joy." (John 17:13 NLT)
- Is your life filled with joy? - check out John 17:13 in the Amplified, "I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts]. - I love this phrase, "they may experience My delight fulfilled in them" - He is delighted in you! - And He wants you to experience His delight fulfilled in you! - True joy doesn't come from having a bunch of stuff, a position, a title, a place on the team, or even from a person. - Don't seek to GET from others what only Jesus can GIVE you! - When we seek to get our joy from someone or a relationship, we end up "Taking" instead of "giving" - we can unintentionally suck the life right out of a relationship. - True joy comes out of a relationship with Christ. - You have to spend time with Him to receive it. - He gives full, complete and lasting joy. - His joy lasts through your current difficulties. - His joy carries you through your perceived problems. - You can have joy despite current circumstances. - Psalm 28:7 says, "The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving." - As you trust in Him and rely on Him, He fills your life with joy. - Once you are filled with joy, you can then spill over and pour joy into your relationships. - Nehemiah 8:10 says, "And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold." - His Joy is your strength! - As you fill up then you turn and give it out. - Today, first make sure you receive His Joy, then... - Be a Joy Giver! - God bless you! - Have a great Tuesday! “Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls." (Hebrews 6:18, 19 NLT)
- Do you need hope this morning? - The Greek definition of hope means "to be intensely expectant, to be confidently looking forward to something you fully expect to happen." - What are your expectations and what are they anchored in? - This verse says that "this hope is an anchor for our souls." - An anchor is something that holds an object firmly in place. - An anchor keeps you from drifting. - Hope can keep our soul - which is made up of our mind, will, emotions - at rest through the storms of life. - When the waves are crashing against you, and you're in the middle of the storm, the anchor of hope keeps you at rest. - That hope keeps you from drifting off into troubled waters. - The greatest battle you will face is the battle in your mind. - Battles are won and lost in your mind. - If the enemy of your soul (Satan) can get you discouraged then he can begin to win the battle. - Have you prayed and believed God for something? - Maybe its your health. - Maybe its a relationship. - Maybe its your finances. - Maybe its for a friend or loved one to come to know Jesus Christ. - Has your head starts telling you there's no way this is going to happen? - Hope is the expectation that will anchor your soul and straighten up your thinking. - Hope will keep you at rest, firm and steady, when your mind is being bombarded by thoughts of giving up. - Our Hope is in the Lord, the Creator and sustainer of ALL things! - Jeremiah 17:7 says, “blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. - Remember all those times God answered your prayers and performed miracles in your life. - Remembering those impossible situations He brought you out of will cause hope to rise up on the inside of you and anchor your soul! - You have to make your mind, will, emotions line-up with what the Word of God says. - You have to tell your soul to have hope, to not give up, and to trust God! - He is your Healer. - He is your Redeemer. - He is your Restorer. - He is you Life Giver! - He is your HOPE! - Thank God this morning that we have the "giver of hope" on the inside of us. - As long as you have hope in God, you have an anchor for your soul. - Have a great Monday! “... Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates new things out of nothing." Romans 4:5
“For it was I, the Lord your God, who rescued you from the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things." (Psalms 81:10 NLT)
- Have you made room for God in your life. - He says, "Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it with good things." - He says, "Open Wide!" - Stretch your mouth open as Wide as you can! - I have a picture in my mind of feeding Adeline when she was a baby. - I would tell her to "Open Wide" and then I would try to get as much in as possible because I didn't know how many times she would do it. - God wants you to prepare your life for the miracle he has for you, just like that. - He is saying, "Get ready, Here it comes - I am going to overload you with my blessings, favor and grace." - He says, "I am going to fill you with My goodness!" - God wants you to prepare to receive a miracle. - He wants you to be ready to receive the breakthrough that you desire and need! - He says, "I will fill it with good things." - Not bad things. - Adeline would make a face and spit out the baby food if it tasted nasty and she didn't like it. - Well you don't have to worry about that, God never gives you anything bad. - He says, "You can trust me - You can open up wide, because I am only going to give you good stuff!" - James 1:17 says, Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light. - Prepare yourself for every Perfect, Free, Large and Full Gift! - Maybe you've experienced rejection or disappointment. - Maybe you've had great loss. - Don't let that loss or disappointment affect your mindset. - Tell yourself, Things will not remain this way. - This is not permanent - It's only a temporary setback. - It's preparation time - God is getting your prepared for His blessing. - Don't begin to expect anything less than God's best! - Prepare yourself... - Begin to expect and look for Gods abundant provision and blessing in every area of your life! - Physically, mentally, financially and emotionally - God wants to fill you with His Best! - 1 Cor. 2:9 says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” - Prepare for what you haven't seen! - Get ready for what you can't even imagine! - Turn to God this morning - pursue Him and begin to prepare yourself for His abundant blessing. - He is the Source that every blessing flows from. - Open Wide! - Have a great Thursday! |
