- Is your life filled with joy?
- check out John 17:13 in the Amplified, "I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].
- I love this phrase, "they may experience My delight fulfilled in them"
- He is delighted in you!
- And He wants you to experience His delight fulfilled in you!
- True joy doesn't come from having a bunch of stuff, a position, a title, a place on the team, or even from a person.
- Don't seek to GET from others what only Jesus can GIVE you!
- When we seek to get our joy from someone or a relationship, we end up "Taking" instead of "giving"
- we can unintentionally suck the life right out of a relationship.
- True joy comes out of a relationship with Christ.
- You have to spend time with Him to receive it.
- He gives full, complete and lasting joy.
- His joy lasts through your current difficulties.
- His joy carries you through your perceived problems.
- You can have joy despite current circumstances.
- Psalm 28:7 says, "The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving."
- As you trust in Him and rely on Him, He fills your life with joy.
- Once you are filled with joy, you can then spill over and pour joy into your relationships.
- Nehemiah 8:10 says, "And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold."
- His Joy is your strength!
- As you fill up then you turn and give it out.
- Today, first make sure you receive His Joy, then...
- Be a Joy Giver!
- God bless you!
- Have a great Tuesday!
