- Have you ever asked, "God, what is your will for my life?"
- Here is the answer.
- "Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will"
- Gods will is for you to live a life that is full of joy and thank regardless of your circumstances.
- In good times, bad times, through highs and lows, when you are praised and when you are falsely accused...Always & At All times.
- Give yourself a little self evaluation this morning and ask yourself this...
- What has my attitude revealed about my Relationship with my God?
- If you believe that He loves you and that His way is best then you will respond to testing and difficulties differently.
- The key is found in verse 17, right there in the middle.
- The Amplified version puts it this way, "Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly]"
- To be unceasing in prayer means that you are in constant fellowship with God.
- You are communicating with Him about all of you needs.
- You are dependent on Him for everything...including how you handle uncertainties and difficulties.
- Prov. 3:5 - 6 says that are to, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.".
- Notice how the word "ALL" is used in these verses.
- With ALL your heart, ALL you do.
- In 1 Thess. It says, in ALL circumstances and ALWAYS be joyful.
- Your Outlook is dependent on your relationship with Jesus and your trust in Him.
- Your Attitude reveals your prayer life.
- What has your attitude, this week, communicated to others about your prayer life?
- When you "Seek His will", which is "being thankful in all circumstances" and always being joyful, you have no choice but to be in constant prayer.
- There is no way you can do it in your own strength.
- As you spend time with Christ, and are dependent on Him, He comes along and fills you with His Spirit.
- Your life begins to look more like Christ every moment.
- He shines through you!
- It's a constant, moment by moment, dependent relationship!
- Ask God to reveal to you the areas of your life that you need to trust Him more.
- Be determined to remove all complaining from your mouth.
- Depend on Him, Rely on Him and really trust God with every part of your life today.
