- Are you childlike?
- Jesus thanked His Father for revealing truth to those that were like children.
- Those that had not learned how to be skeptical.
- Those who had not learned to doubt first.
- The childlike are those that trust first.
- Children simply believe!
- When you tell them to do something, they believe that it is Possible.
- They have not been taught that some things are impossible.
- You tell them they can do something and they just do it.
- Jesus had just sent His Disciples out ahead of Him to all the towns He planned to visit.
- They had to believe that the One who sent them would give them His Power wherever they went.
- They had to believe that Jesus knew what He was doing and where He was sending them.
- They had to TRUST.
- Not trust in their ability but in His.
- Not trust in what they could do but in what He could do through them.
- How about you?
- Where has Jesus sent you today?
- Do you trust Him to be with you wherever you go or have you stopped looking for Him to show up long ago?
- Do you believe that He can do the impossible through you?
- Do you trust in Him and His ability instead of your own?
- Beware of having your life so planned out that you don't give Him room to work.
- Luke 10:17 says, "When the seventy-two disciples returned, they joyfully reported to him, “Lord, even the demons obey us when we use your name!”
- Check out their attitude.
- They are Full of Joy!
- They were like, "We did it! We took the step of Faith and We did it!"
- They didn't return critical, full of doubt, skeptical, or anything else.
- They were full of Joy because they did what He told them to do and He showed up like He said He would!
- In what area of your life have you stopped trusting in Jesus and His power?
- Where are you trusting in your strength instead of His?
- Is it forgiveness?
- Is it healing?
- Is it sharing your faith?
- Is it a relationship?
- Whatever it is, Re- Learn how to be childlike again.
- Simply believe that Jesus is who He said He is and He can do what He said He can do...
- In and through you!
- Have a great Wednesday!
