- What does your faith look like?
- Is it something that people can see?
- In Acts 14 we have the story of a man who was crippled from birth.
- He had never been able to walk.
- He had no reason to expect more.
- This is how his life had always been.
- But something happened as Paul began to preach.
- As he heard the Word of God his Faith came alive!
- His expectation grew.
- Not in his own ability but in God's unlimited ability.
- Then Paul called out, “Stand up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk. (Acts 14:10)
- He did what he had never done!
- He jumped up and walked!
- His Faith matched Gods Ability!
- In that moment he had a choice...
- Dare to believe for an expect more or stay sitting.
- He could grab ahold of the healing power of God or remain the same.
- He could have stayed down but He jumped!
- I think that really speaks of his faith...
- There was no hesitation and no doubt... He jumped!
- What does your faith say today?
- Are you ready to Jump into all God has for you?
- Don't say it can't be done.
- Don't say this is how it's always been.
- Dare to believe for more!
- Dare to expect more!
- It doesn't matter how long you've been in debt - Phil. 4:19 says, "My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
- It doesn't matter what the doctor says, Isaiah 53:5 says, "by his wounds we are healed."
- You may have struggled with that addiction or habit for years but Psalm 46:1 says,"God is our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble."
- Psalm 34:17 says, "When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles."
- Today, don't say it can't be done.
- Today, let your faith match God's Ability.
- Let your faith rise to meet your All Powerful God.
- It's time to do what you've never done...Jump!
- Have a great Weekend!
