Acts 7:9
- But God was with Him!
- That's a pretty Big "BUT"
- Even though Joseph's brothers had sold him into slavery...
- Even though everything seemed to be going wrong...
- And even though it seemed everything was leading him away from the dream God had given him...
- It says, "But God was with him and rescued him from all his troubles."
- Maybe your circumstances seem to be extremely bad right now.
- Maybe everything seems to be going against you
- Maybe it seems like the dreams God gave you are just a distant memory.
- Don't begin to believe that God has forgotten about you.
- Don't confuse God's "presence" with your "Place"
- Your current "Place" in life - your home, your job, your friendships, your finances...
- Those places may look bad right now...
- Your "Place in life" might seem difficult but that doesn't mean that God has abandoned you.
- He hasn't left you.
- He is still madly in love with you!
- His presence is there with you "through it"
- Acts 7:9 goes on to say, "And God gave him favor before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. God also gave Joseph unusual wisdom, so that Pharaoh appointed him governor over all of Egypt and put him in charge of the palace. (Acts 7:9, 10)
- Because of God's presence, He can give you favor even with your enemies.
- He can give you extraordinary wisdom for making the right decisions.
- He can appoint you to positions of influence that you could never have achieved on your own.
- Remember, Isaiah 55:8 says, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine."
- Far Beyond!
- God's ways are far greater & Far better than anything you could imagine.
- Do you believe that God is with you today?
- Do you really believe it?
- Instead of asking God to change your situation - ask Him to reveal Himself in the middle of your circumstances.
- Seek His presence despite your situations.
- Only Jesus can fill you with His Spirit which can take you above your "place"
- His Presence can make you soar instead of sitting and sulking!
- The big question is can your trust Him with "your current place"?
- Seek Him and His presence today!
- Thank Him, for the fact that He is "With You!"
- Thank Him for taking you Through... Even if you haven't seen the desired result yet.
- Trust in Him and His ways!
- His way is perfect!
- Psalm 18:30 says, God’s way is perfect. All the Lord ’s promises prove true..."
- Have a great Monday!
