- Never forget the power that you have in prayer.
- David says, "In my distress I called out"
- There is never a bad time to pray.
- You have the ear of the most High God, the Creator of the Universe...
- The Creator of all things!
- David says in verse 1 & 2 "I love you, LORD; you are my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety."
- As you pray and call on God's name it builds your faith.
- You acknowledge that you are not relying on your own strength but on God.
- As you call out to Him and focus on His name it makes Him greater than your difficulty.
- When you focus on your problem and complain, you feed fear.
- When you focus on the LORD and His name, you feed faith.
- David chose to feed His Faith.
- David is recalling how God saved Him from all his enemies and even from being hunted down by King Saul.
- This is after David is King.
- He has not forgotten what God has done and what He is capable of doing.
- Today, recall all the ways God has helped you.
- Remember what He has saved you and delivered from.
- Celebrate what He is protecting and shielding against you.
- He is your strength.
- He is your Rock - He is solid and unmovable.
- He is your fortress - He protects you from danger.
- You can Hide in Him and His love.
- He shields you from gossip and negative words.
- He is Mighty to save you.
- He can save you from anxiety and depression.
- He can lift you up and out!
- He is a Real and personal God and He loves to hear your voice when you call on His name and trust in Him.
- There is no problem or difficulty to big or to small.
- There is nothing that your God cannot do!
- The only power that the enemy has against you is what you give him.
- Don't give the enemy an inch.
- Focus on God and His mighty power.
- Remember what He has done and look forward to what He is going to do.
- Call on Him by name...personalize it!
- Make the choice to feed your faith today!
- Have a great Monday!
