- What has caused you to be afraid or filled with fear?
- The children of Israel had just escaped Egypt and bondage and took the path that the Lord had them take..."The roundabout way".
- As they follow Him and His way, they now find themselves trapped.
- They went exactly where He wanted them to go, and now they are trapped!?
- The Red Sea in front of them and Pharaoh and the Egyptian army pressing in from behind.
- What is their response?
- To return to their familiar mindset and ways...
- They Complain!
- They doubt.
- They are ready to give up.
- They are ready to surrender to the problem.
- They had grown up as slaves, and that was what was familiar to them.
- That is their old mindset.
- Then comes verse 13...
- "But Moses told the people, 'Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today.'"
- Whatever familiar problem, stronghold, habit, addiction or fear comes at you today - Listen to The Lord as He says, STAND STILL!"
- During the 21 day fast I want you to do the same, "Stand Still"
- Stand still doesn't mean, "do nothing"
- Stand Still means, "Be confident, Be firm and undismayed"
- Verse 14 says, because "The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
- Don't be confident in yourself, be confident in The Lord!
- Be confident in His power in you!
- When you line up your mindset with The Lord, He will work for you.
- Let your feet take you to The Lord.
- Run to Him, and watch Him fight for you.
- Catch a glimpse of what He sees.
- He sees Victory!
- The battle has already been won!
- Rom. 8:31 says, " If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
- As you stand firm, and confident, verse 14 (AMP) says, "and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest."
- When you trust in your self and your own ability you will live in fear.
- But when you trust in God and His ability, you will live in peace and remain at rest.
- Live in Peace today!
- Stand still and watch The Lord rescue you!
- Have a great Tuesday!
