- What are your eyes "Fixed on"?
- Sometimes troubles and problems are so great that they seem larger than life.
- They demand your attention.
- But in times of trouble, the Psalmist, David, says, "my eyes are fixed on you"
- In verse 1, he says, “I call to you, LORD, come quickly to me; hear me when I call to you.”
- He knows that he can cry out to God in His distress and despair and the Lord will hear him, and so can you.
- He knows that he can find refuge and safety in the Lord.
- Don't fix your eyes on the problem, fix them on your Savior.
- Cry out to the One who is your Comforter and Helper in your time of need.
- 2 Corinthians 1:3 says that "God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles..."
- ALL means ALL
- No matter how big the problem is, our God is Greater!
- His ability to Comfort far exceeds the problem.
- Know, for a fact, that you can find comfort and Peace in God today.
- Turn to Him.
- Fix your eyes on Him and call on His name!
- Have a great weekend!
"But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign LORD; in you I take refuge...". (Psalm 141:8)
