- Today, you have a choice.
- Set before you today, is a choice that you have to make.
- Its not a choice that your parents, or friends can make for you.
- Only you can choose…so what’s it going to be?
- The choice is blessings or curses?
- Life or death?
- Fear or Faith?
- Seems simple at first, right?
- Until you take a look at the choices that you made last week and the week before that.
- Have you looked at your circumstances at home, school or work with eyes of Faith or Fear?
- Have you been speaking God’s blessings or curses in the middle of your struggles?
- Choosing between life and death means that you examine things that lead to physical, emotional and spiritual life or death.
- If you want choose life, then the next verse gives you the way to do it.
- Deuteronomy 30: 20 says, “That you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life!”
- Moses is telling the children of Israel that if they want to prosper, and succeed in the Promised Land that they are about to enter, then this is how they are to do it.
- Here are three important things to do:
1) Love the Lord your God.
2) Listen to His voice,
3) Hold fast to Him!
- Its the same for you and me, if you really want to prosper in Life then these 3 things are vitally important.
- Make the choice at the beginning of the day, to put God first.
- If you really want to live and have an abundant, blessed life, then the Lord must be your life!
- Let all of your decisions flow out of your relationship with Jesus.
- Choose today to read His Word and talk with Him.
- Choose today to pray, and listen to His still small voice.
- Get to know Him.
- Fall in love with Him all over again.
- Make sure that everything…simply everything flows out of your love relationship with Him.
- And when you face any type of problem, hold fast to Him!
- To “Hold Fast” means that you commit yourself to Him.
- It means that you hold closely to His ways, because you know that His ways lead to life!
- Today, begin trusting Him with your life, again.
- 1 Pete 5:7 say, “Cast all of your cares upon Him, for He cares for you."
- Make a fresh new commitment to Jesus, today!
- Choose Life!
- Have a great Monday!
