- Do you know that God is watching you?
- Have you ever heard someone say that "He sees everything that you do.", and they use it as a negative.
- Like when someone is doing something wrong, they say, "God sees what you are doing."
- Well, how about looking at it as a positive?
- Let's look at what this verse says in the Amplified version, ““FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE [looking favorably] UPON THE RIGHTEOUS (the upright), AND HIS EARS ARE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR PRAYER (eager to answer)..."
- Do you know that when you set extra time aside at the beginning of this year to seek God, that God is looking favorably upon you?
- Not because of any type of religious act that you've done or any special duty that you've performed.
- It's simply because, you are His kid, a child of God, and He wants to pour out His love on you.
- God wants to bless you.
- God is actually looking for ways to bless you
- And God is listening intently to your prayers.
- He is eager to answer!
- He wants to hear what you have to say so that you can abundantly bless and meet your need!
- When you see it like that, it will actually change the way you pray.
- It will raise your expectations!
- Hebrews 3:1 says to "consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,”
- Jesus is the High priest of your confession.
- A high priest is someone who is "authorized to implement and to carry into effect."
- What is he implementing?
- Your confession!
- He needs your agreement.
- So, if you put these two verses together then you see that God is looking to carry out your confession.
- Are you praying for Healing, a breakthrough, forgiveness, restoration, deliverance?
- As you pray it and speak it, Jesus stands ready to carry it out!
- So today, pray Big prayers.
- Don't talk defeated talk, speak words of victory!
- Pray as if Our All-Powerful, All-Mighty God is waiting to hear your voice and meet your need through Jesus Christ!
- And don't just leave it for your prayer time... continue to speak it and confess it throughout the day.
- Have a great Thursday!
"The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil.”” 1 Peter 3:12 NLT
