- This verse says that God knew it was "Time to act!"
- This same God wants to act on your behalf, today!
- The real meaning behind that phrase is "acknowledged His obligation to help them."
- He is covenant keeping God.
- He made a covenant with Abraham and His descendants and He was obligated.
- Not because of anything the children of Israel had done, but because His name was on the line.
- Knowing the time to act is knowing God's time to act.
- You can try to do it on your own, like Moses when he killed a man, and ended up running for his life and hiding in a distant country.
- Never act alone when you should be acting with God.
- God's timing is always best.
- His ways are always right.
- His plan is always perfect.
- Trust in Him, wait on Him, listen for Him.
- Prov. 3:5-7 (MSG) says, "Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God!"
- When you trust in God, you will end up running to God, not away from God.
- If you have trusted in Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, you are in covenant with Him.
- He is obligated to help you.
- But remember, it's His timing not your.
- Your part is to run to God.
- His part is to act.
- He will never give you anything to difficult.
- He won't give you more than you can handle.
- Matt. 11:29 (MSG) says, 28-30 “ Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
- You may feel like you are going to break but continue to trust and rely on Him.
- He is creating you into the perfect vessel that He can use to bring Him glory.
- Remember He is a covenant keeping God and He is in covenant with you!
- Have a great Monday!
