- Are you leading your life or are you letting God lead?
- Following Him or are you blazing a path and asking Him to bless what you have already set out to do?
- Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to lead EVERY part of your life?
- He wants to take the lead in your attitude, speech, friendships, your choices, the way you act and react ...EVERY part.
- He wants to guide you and direct you, but if He is going to lead then you must be willing to follow.
- That means that we must give up leading our way.
- We have to surrender.
- Prov. 16:9 says, " In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps."
- He can establish you steps.
- He wants to show you the right way!
- Romans 12: 2 says, "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
- He has a perfect will for you.
- He has a plan for your life that is above and beyond any Human plan, but you got to trust Him.
- Isaiah 55:8 says, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine."
- You've got to believe His way is best.
- It's far beyond your greatest imagination of what you dream up on your own.
- But, this means changing the way you think.
- Every time you feel the impulse to react harshly or what comes naturally to you or maybe it is thoughts that you know aren't lead by God's Spirit...surrender them to Him.
- Say, "God, give me your thoughts, help me to see your way, transform my thinking."
- Begin in the small areas of your life...one step at a time.
- Let Him establish that step...then take another one, and allow Him to establish that step.
- You will begin to know His perfect will and way.
- It starts in the small ways and as you conquer that, it leads to the bigger ways and then EVERY part!
- Luke 16: 10 says, “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities."
- Begin to be faithful in the little areas before trying to conquer the large areas of your life.
- Walk it out and live it out one step at a time.
- May our prayer, this morning, be, "God, wherever you lead, I will follow!"
- God bless you, Have a great Weekend!
