- Do you have a supply and demand problem?
- Do the demands on your life seem greater than your supply of resources?
- Do your gifting's and abilities seem smaller that what is required of you?
- When Peter looked at the demand, he saw 5,000 men alone
- Add to that the women and children and you have a huge demand.
- Their supply was one young boy with five barley loaves and two fish.
- Peter's first response is, "What good is that with this huge crowd?”
- The fish and loaves seemed totally insignificant compared to the demand of the people.
- I love Jesus' response...“Tell everyone to sit down,” (John 6:10)
- Ha! I may be wrong, but to me it looks like, "sit down and shut up" and watch what I can do with what you call insignificant.
- Verse 11 says, "Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward he did the same with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted."
- Jesus took the insignificant or the useless and completely met the demand.
- They ate as much as they wanted and there was leftovers!
- What do you have this morning that seems insignificant?
- What talent, skills or abilities do you have that you have labeled "Useless"
- Know today, that God can take what you call "useless and insignificant" and multiply it to meet the need.
- This is exactly what Paul meant when he said, "And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
- Every need you have according to His Riches in Glory!
- "His riches in glory in Christ Jesus" = His Supply
- There is no demand on you that is greater than that!
- Today, God can supply and fill to the full all of the demands on you!
- When God is with you, you have all of the resources you could ever want.
- Whether it is food, your job, your relationships, your mental or emotional stability or your bank account...He can fill to the full.
- Refuse to label anything that you have as insignificant or useless.
- Everything that God has given you is significant!
- Everything you have is useful!
- Today, simply hold up what He has given you and say, "God, please use "this" for your glory!
- Present yourself before God and say, "Here am I, (flaws and all) God use me."
- See the insignificant as SIGNIFICANT!
- See the useless as USEFUL!
- Choose to look at what He can do with the "little".
- Decide to trust Him with the "Insignificant".
- He is the God "Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed."(Rom. 4:17 AMP)
- He calls the "dead and useless" things in your life, "ALIVE"!
- He calls the "Insignificant" talents and abilities as "SIGNIFICANT"!
- There is nothing that God cannot do with you, in you and through you, today, when you make yourself available!
- Thank God today that you have all you need to accomplish His purposes for your life!
- Have a great Monday!
