- There is power in the name of Jesus!
- No matter what you are facing…
- No matter where you are…
- No matter how big your giant is or how persistent the enemy has been…
- Know this…there is Power in His Name!
- In this verse it says that you have life by the power of His name!
- A real life, an abundant life.
- A life that is full and overflowing with God’s goodness and blessing.
- Many people let their circumstances determine the type of life that they are going to have.
- Their circumstances dictate their mood or attitude.
- You can’t do that as a Christian.
- That is settling for a “less than His best” type of life.
- Jesus offers you a life so full of Him that it spills over into your circumstances.
- In this verse it says, “so that you may continue to believe”
- This word “believe” means that you have a deep abiding trust.
- To abide means that you live in Him and He lives in you.
- You can’t be separated.
- Every circumstance you face must come through Him.
- He is your source of Joy and Hope!
- Philippians 4:19 says “My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
- All your needs are met in Him!
- Physical, emotional, spiritual, financial…All your needs!
- Today is a great day to hold on to His name and use, rely on it and trust in it with the power that it possesses.
- There is salvation in His name! (Rom. 10:13)
- There is healing in His name. (Acts 3:6)
- Even demons are subject to His name (Luke 10:17)
- In John 14:13 Jesus says, whatever you ask for in my name, I will do it!
- In John 1:3 it says, "All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him not even one thing was made that has come into being.”
- So if everything exists because of Him, then all things must obey His command!
- Everything is subject to His name!
- Remind yourself of the power of His name.
- His name has not and will not ever lose it’s power!
- Today, use His name because He tells you to! (Mark 16: 17-19)
- Live as an overcomer as you abide in His name, today!
- Have a great weekend!
