- If you want to see God do mighty things in your life, you are going to have to ignore the things that Jesus ignores.
- Jesus ignored the people who were saying that Jairus' daughter was dead.
- They said, "Why trouble the Teacher (Jesus) any further?" (Mark 5:35)
- He ignored it because He knew the source.
- Jesus not only ignored their words but He replaced it with a new word.
- In the NKJV it says, "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe."
- AS SOON AS!
- As soon as the enemy speaks words of doubt and fear to you, you need to ignore it and replace it.
- Ignore it, disregard it and throw it out.
- Put it out of sight and get it out of mind.
- In John 10:10, Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."
- Satan wants to rob you of your faith. He wants to kill your joy...He wants to destroy you hope!
- Disregard His words and replace it with Jesus words of an Abundant life!
- Any time you hear the words - "You will never change”,
- or, "It will always be this way”,
- statements like, " You will never get better”,
- or thoughts that say, "You don't deserve another chance" - Know the Source!
- Know the source and Ignore it and Replace it.
- As soon as you hear it, whether it is just voices in your mind or actual words someone has spoken.
- Begin to speak, and replace it with this...
- I will change because Phil. 4:13 says "I can do All things through Christ who strengthens me."
- I won't always be this way because, 2 Cor. 5:17 says "that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!"
- I am healed because 1 Peter 2:24 says, "By his (Jesus')wounds you have been healed."
- I will get better because Jesus says in Luke 18:27, "All things are possible to those who believe."
- In Phil 4:19 God says, "I will supply all your needs."
- I get another chance because God says, "I forgive you" in 1 John 1:9 and Romans 8:1
- Today is a new day.
- Take it on with great anticipation!
- Do not be afraid; only believe.
- Have a great Thursday!
