- We serve a God who Restores.
- You are never to far to turn back.
- You haven't messed up or ruined things to the point that He cannot repair.
- If you think that, then you need to remove that type of thinking and mindset.
- In Deuteronomy 30 God is telling His children that EVEN IF they have totally abandoned Him...
- …EVEN IF they have gone their own way…
- … EVEN IF they are now experiencing all of the curses that He said would happen if they walked away from Him and chose their way.
- EVEN IF… God said "I will still Restore you!"
- He says, "I will still have mercy on you!"
- I will gather you back!
- The promise is still true today.
- The condition found in verse 2, "If you return to the Lord your God, and if you obey with all your heart and all your soul all the commands I have given you today…"
- If you return to Him, He will Return to you.
- Sound familiar? James 4:8 says, "Come Near to God and He will come near to you."
- You just need to make the decision to return to Him.
- No matter how far you have wandered or how bad you have messed things up.
- If your desire is to make things right and return to God and His ways, then begin right now!
- Begin with a fresh commitment to love and obey Him.
- Begin by getting in His Word.
- Fall in love with Him today!
- Deuteronomy 30:6 says, "The Lord your God will change your heart and the hearts of all your descendants, so that you will love him with all your heart and soul and so you may live!"
- In other words, it may not feel natural at first but even if you take the first step - just out of obedience…
- …. Then God has the ability to change and transform your heart so that whats not natural begins to feel natural.
- He can change your heart to love Him again.
- As verse 6 says, "So that you may Live!"… Really live!
- Make that choice to come alive and really Live, today!
- Don't let guilt, discouragement, fear or anything else stand between you and Him.
- Have a great Wednesday!
