- What are the words that have been coming out of your mouth?
- Are they words of blessing?
- Are they words of Faith in God and His promises?
- Or are they words of complaining and doubt?
- In Numbers 11:1, when God was leading the children of Israel to the promised land, it says, "Soon, the people began to complain about their hardship, and the Lord heard everything they said. "
- The Lord heard EVERYTHING!
- What was Gods response to the children of Israel's complaining?
- "Then the Lord ’s anger blazed against them..."
- Remember, God was the One leading them. (A cloud by day and pillar of fire at night)
- Some things do not change...
- Do you know that God hears everything you speak?
- When you complain, you are saying more about God than you are your circumstance.
- The words you speak are about your belief in God and your trust in Him.
- Do you believe He is faithful?
- Do you believe He loves you?
- Do you believe that He wants to bless you and lead you into the best?
- Check out what Jesus says in Matt. 12 about your words...
- " I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.” (Matt. 12:36-37 NLT)
- Examine the words that come out of your mouth today.
- Will the words of your mouth be pleasing to God?
- Will your words push people away from God or cause people to want to get close to Him?
- Will your words acquit you or condemn you?
- Choose today to speak of His faithfulness and His power.
- Choose to speak life!
- Have a great Tuesday!
