- When Psalmist, David, wrote these words, he knew firsthand what is was like to face trouble.
- He knew about fear and he knew about God.
- He had a strength that came even in the face of fear.
- He is certain even as trouble comes.
- His certainty does not come from himself and His ability to fight.
- His strength and certainty comes from The Lord.
- Verse 4 says, "The one thing I ask of the LORD— the thing I seek most—is to live in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, delighting in the LORD’s perfections and meditating in his Temple."
- To live in the House of The Lord is to be in God's presence.
- The one thing we need to desire, above all else, is to meet with The Lord and to be in His presence.
- To take His presence with you, all throughout the day, wherever you go.
- His presence makes all the difference.
- His presence brings Peace.
- His presence gives confidence.
- Never let the situations you face define you and your attitude.
- What should define you is God and His presence.
- A security that is only found in Him.
- A safety that only He can give.
- Protection that only He can provide.
- "HE WILL conceal me there when troubles come."
- Not - "He might", "He should", or "He probably will"
- No - be confident!
- Be secure!
- HE WILL!
- In the face of your storm, declare "GOD WILL protect me today!
- He will Hide me from trouble!
- "He will place me out of reach!"
- Just as Psalm 27 begins, "THE LORD is my Light and my Salvation-- whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life--of whom shall I be afraid?"
- Let Him fill you with His presence by His Spirit.
- Let His presence define you, today!
- Have a great Tuesday!
