- I love this translation of the parable of the Pearl of great value.
- Some people are searching for a God who will "just" forgive them.
- Some just want a God who will show them mercy.
- Or maybe they are looking for peace in their life.
- They may search all of their life for what is the greatest "value."
- In this verse it says, "Finding one that is Flawless"
- Jesus is flawless, blameless, and His way is perfect.
- He was without sin - perfect!
- 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, "God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."
- He became sin so we could be forgiven and have a relationship with God.
- So that we could be made right.
- When you accept Him into you life, yes, you receive forgiveness, but you receive so much more!
- You can be set free from:
- condemnation and guilt.
- Set free from shame.
- Set free from depression.
- Set free from habitual sin.
- All your needs are met in Jesus.
- Phil. 4:19 says, "God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
- His power is available to fill to the full your every need!
- This is what the kingdom of God is like ...every need is met!
- Yes you find forgiveness...
- But you also find healing...
- you find peace...
- You find love...
- You find mercy...
- You find strongholds broken...
- Your physical, emotional, spiritual needs...all are met!
- He is flawless and His way is flawless.
- It's worth giving up Everything else!
- Give up your way and find healing in His way!
- Maybe these are the words that you need today...
- Jesus says in Matt 11:28 - 30 "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
- God bless you, a great Weekend!
