- Where has God brought you?
- Don't try to interpret your circumstances apart from God.
- Always go to Him and ask for His perspective.
- What is God busy doing?
- When Jesus told His disciples what He was going to suffer and go through, Peter began to reprimand him.
- Jesus' response to Peter was this, “Get away from me, Satan! You are a dangerous trap to me. You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.” (Matt. 16:23)
- Beware of seeing things based on our Human point of view.
- If everything is filtered through your feelings, your feelings can betray you.
- You may be avoiding something that is painful, when that painful situation may lead you to God's promise.
- In Gen. 20, Joseph was telling His brothers, "He (God) brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people."
- He was able to see that God had a purpose through the pain.
- The pain was temporary but God's promise had eternal rewards.
- Joseph chose to see things from God's point of view.
- He chose to see the eternal in the temporary.
- How about you today?
- What do you see?
- Where has God brought you?
- Are your circumstances confusing or even painful?
- Ask God to show you His perspective.
- Ask for Him to reveal His plan.
- Ask Him to help you see what He sees.
- Begin to follow Him one step at a time...One decision at a time!
- Trust in Him and His plan.
- He loves you and Created you with a purpose.
- In Jer. 29:11 He says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
- Have a great Weekend!
