- One of the greatest gifts we can give to another person is unconditional love and forgiveness.
- To demonstrate the “God kind of love” to them.
- A love that doesn't expect anything in return.
- 1 Corinthians 13:8 tells us that, “Love never fails!”
- When we give unconditional love to others, we have a guarantee that it will make an impact.
- All of us can increase our giving in love and forgiveness.
- You can never give too much!
- Many people are not very good at communicating love.
- These three words can have a powerful impact on someone's life, "I love you."
- But make sure they are followed by action.
- Go out of your way to tell someone, today, that you love them and appreciate them.
- What are some ways that you could give in this area?
- Maybe its writing a note of love and appreciation to your parents, family member, or friend.
- Maybe it is stopping by a nursing home and bringing flowers to several patients.
- Maybe it is going to someone who you’ve had a disagreement with and ask them to forgive you and make things right.
- When somebody says or does something that hurts or offends you, forgive them immediately. Don’t make them pay for it by holding a grudge, not talking to them, giving them the silent treatment, or being mean back to them.
- When we give love and forgiveness, the Bible tells us that it will be given back to us.
- Many people use Luke 6:27 - 38 to address giving money, but it is actually talking about a reward for giving love and forgiveness.
- verse 38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
- Today...Do something to demonstrate an act of kindness, love, and forgiveness...UNCONDITIONALLY!
- Have a great weekend!
