- Do you need to have your eyes opened today, so that you can see what God sees.
- This verse is interesting because it doesn't say that God created a well...
- Doesn't say that God suddenly made one appear.
- It says that "God opened Hagar’s eyes".
- It was already there and she could not see it.
- Could it be that she was so consumed and overwhelmed with her problem that she couldn't see the provision?
- Hagar had been sent off with her son Ishmael into the wilderness.
- She had wandered aimlessly (she was lost)
- She was out of water (All of her resources.)
- Verse 15 says, "When the water was gone, she put the boy in the shade of a bush. Then she went and sat down by herself about a hundred yards away. “I don’t want to watch the boy die,” she said, as she burst into tears."
- Just like Hagar, when you are at your lowest, God is about to do the Greatest!
- When you are out of Resources, God is a God of the plentiful!
- Turn to Him, pour your heart out to Him and look for His provision!
- verse 17 says, "But God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “Hagar, what’s wrong? Do not be afraid!"
- God hears the cry of the innocent.
- God sees your tears.
- He is with you and He will not abandon you.
- Today, ask take your eyes off of your problem and place them on your Provider!
- When you are lost, he will Guide you in Truth!
- When you are empty, Philippians 4:19 says, "And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
- We serve a God who can fill to the full your every need!
- You may not be seeing the answer because you have been so consumed with the problem.
- Ask Him to open your eyes to His Full provision today!
- He is waiting for you to ask!
- Have a great Wednesday!
