- Do you want to prosper in life?
- Do you want to succeed?
- This verse doesn't mean that those who seek God and follow His ways will never face difficulties or problems.
- It does mean that those who build their lives on God's Word and chase after a relationship with Him will rise above their circumstances.
- They will thrive in difficult times where others fail.
- You won't wither or wear out.
- Whatever you put your hand to will prosper.
- God's will is for you to live an abundant, prosperous life.
- Those who live in God's word will receive an unfailing source of life from His Spirit.
- You will constantly be refreshed and renewed by His Spirit.
- You will be empowered by His Spirit.
- In John 15:5 Jesus says, “Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."
- verse 7 goes on to say, "But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!"
- The key is the Word "Remain".
- Just like Psalm 1:2 says that those who prosper are those that "delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. " (Psalm 1:2 NLT)
- "Day and night"... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- To remain means that He becomes your life.
- When He becomes your life, you begin to reflect Him.
- You will have His heart and you will know what His best is for you.
- You will have answers that will help and guide you and others.
- You will become a source of life to others.
- And Psalm 1:6 says that the Lord Himself will watch over your path.
- Its not only His desire that you succeed, but He will help you succeed!
- Make a fresh commitment to Him this morning.
- Fill your life with His word.
- Ask Him for wisdom and ask Him to guide your steps.
- When you seek after His best, He will give you His best!
- You will have His favor as you set out to accomplish His will.
- You will succeed...
- You will prosper!
- Have a great Thursday!
