(Psalm 147:3 NIV)
- Have you ever felt hurt or broken beyond repair?
- Ever experienced a painful loss?
- You have a God who heals your pain and comforts you in your sorrow.
- He doesn’t stand at a distance and expect you to fix yourself.
- He reaches down and comes to where you are and Comforts you by His Spirit.
- In verse 6 it says “The Lord sustains the humble”
- The word humble is the Hebrew word “anawah”. This includes the idea of suffering and refers to those who are afflicted.
- This means that when life’s problems and difficulties become to much for you to handle, you can humbly come to God and He will help strengthen and sustain you.
- When you admit your weakness to God, He will provide His strength!
- It may be overwhelming for you but it’s never to much for God.
- He loves you and He is looking to heal and restore you.
- Since He is your Maker & Creator, He knows how to fix you better than anyone else.
- He can create something beautiful out of the broken.
- Today, reach out to your Comforter and Healer.
- Humbly admit that you can’t, but acknowledge that He can!
- Have a great Thursday!
