- Do you ever feel weak and powerless in comparison to what you are facing.
- God says that He increases strength to those who have "no might".
- When you are at your lowest, God is at His greatest.
- He understands your situation and your need for Him.
- He doesn't want to abandon you...He wants to restore you.
- Restore you to completeness in Him.
- God wants to fill you with His power this morning.
- Just prior to this verse He describes Himself...
- "The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. (Isaiah 40:28)
- He's never tired, never worn out.
- No situation is to difficult for Him.
- He wants you to know that you "are more than a conqueror through Him." (Rom.8:37)
- The key is "Through Him"
- You find your identity "In Him" and you live out His power "through Him"
- You will never be strong enough on your own to defeat the enemy.
- It is " in him that we live and move and have our being.’ (Acts 17:28)
- No matter how complicated, difficult, or insurmountable the "Giant" is that you face He can give you the power to conquer it.
- If you see yourself as a failure, you will live like a failure.
- If you see yourself as a sinner, then you will live like a sinner.
- if you see yourself as unloveable, the you will live unloved.
- If you see yourself as weak, then you will live weak.
- Grab ahold of Faith and strengthen yourself in Christ!
- Your Faith in God and His ability will give you Hope and fill you with worth.
- Remember, you are Not who you were, you are who Christ says you are!
- Heb. 8:12 says, "And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.”
- If you have repented of your sins, then He has forgiven you, and He doesn't even remember it.
- In other words, that is not who you are.
- Quit living out your past - it is time to live "In Christ"
- When God sees you, He sees Christ.
- That is your new identity.
- You are powerful.
- You are successful.
- you are loved.
- you are pure.
- 2 Tim. 3:17 says, You are thoroughly equipped for every good work.
- Focus on Truth...Truth speaks of Who You Are, not who you were.
- Dwell on Truth and Live it out.
- Truth sets you free this morning!
