Lamentations 3:22-23 ESV
- Aren’t you glad that The Lords Love and Mercy never ends.
- Are you in need of His Mercy, today?
- Mercy is not getting what you deserve.
- What do we deserve?
- Romans 3:23 says, ““For the wages of sin is death...”
- That’s what we earn for our sin.
- But the second part of that verse says, “but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
- We deserve death and separation from Him but what we get in return is eternal Life In Christ Jesus.
- But how many of us have continued to sin even after we have received His forgiveness and free gift?
- I believe it is all of us.
- That’s where His mercies, which are new every morning, comes in.
- The Word “New” is the Hebrew Word “hadas”
- Hadas doesn’t just mean the same mercy is available over and over again.
- Hadas means new, as in never before experienced!
- In other words His mercy changes to match the sin, failure, mistakes and needs.
- He has a fresh new batch of mercy tailor made to fit your needs this morning.
- And you can’t exhaust His mercy!
- God’s mercy is bigger than any of your mistakes!
- Your don’t have to live with the guilt and shame of your sin.
- Instead, confess and repent and receive His New Mercy which He has specially prepared for you today.
- 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
- Do you see that word “ALL”
- All means All... every single bit.
- So today, if you need to repent, then do it.
- If you need to confess, then do that.
- And if you need to receive His Mercy, then simply receive it.
- He’s prepared new mercy just for you!
- And don’t worry about exhausting it - there is more available for you tomorrow!
- Have a great Tuesday!
