- Are you happy?
- Do you want to find true joy?
- Then you've got to be humble.
- Look at how this verse reads in the Amplified version - "Blessed (happy, blithesome, joyous, spiritually prosperous--with life-joy and satisfaction in God’s favor and salvation, regardless of their outward conditions) are the meek (the mild, patient, long-suffering), for they shall inherit the earth! (Matthew 5:5 AMP)
- Wow! Take time to read all the way through that a couple of times.
- Being happy is so much more than putting a smile on your face.
- You can have true joy regardless of what is going on around you.
- You can spiritually prosper when everything is crashing in around you.
- You can find satisfaction in Gods Favor when circumstances are less than ideal!
- Regardless of what is going on the outside, you can have an inner peace.
- Phil. 4:7 says that you can "Experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."
- His peace will literally protect your heart and mind from thoughts of fear or defeat.
- It all comes when you learn to be humble.
- Humility does not mean that you are meek and timid.
- Humility means that you have put your life in Gods hands.
- You are putting all of your hopes and dreams in Him and His faithfulness.
- Humility means that you are trusting in Him for every decision.
- It is living like Proverbs 3:5 &6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take."
- Look at what Psalms 149:4 says, "For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory."
- Do you see that - If you are truly humble and trusting in Him, it's like wearing a crown of victory into every circumstance you face today.
- As you face every obstacle - the enemy sees your crown.
- The enemy, Satan, knows he is defeated as long as you remain humble and trust in God today.
- That's why the devil want to fill you with pride.
- That why he wants you to rely on yourself and your own ability.
- But don't be tricked.
- Keep trusting in The Lord with ALL your heart!
- Keep relying on God and His ability!
- Now, re-read Matt. 5:5 "Happy are those who are humble; they will receive what God has promised.
- You will receive what God has promised - Victory!
- Victory in every area of your life - Physically, spiritually, emotionally, financially!
- Wear that crown of Victory today!
- Have a great Thursday - It's a day to live as an Overcomer!
