- Have you lost joy in your life?
- Have you become worn down and worn out?
- Have you become weary in doing good?
- Let Psalm 119:2 remind you that those who search for God with all their heart AND obey His laws are joyful, Happy and Envied!
- It cannot be, Just follow His laws and obey Him.
- That can quickly become a "chore" or "duty" and lead to a life of works.
- You will become worn out, weary and discouraged when you do that.
- But when you search for Him with all your heart it becomes a love relationship.
- I love how this translation reads, "CRAVE HIM" with the whole heart."
- To Crave means an intense hunger and desire!
- Can you honestly say that you CRAVE Him?
- Do you have a unquenchable thirst for more of Him?
- Or would you describe yourself as complacent and satisfied?
- Is it your passion to please Him?
- Do you really Love Him?
- When you are "In Love" with someone, you love to please them.
- It's not a chore, It becomes your passion!
- This leads to a joy filled life...a Happy life!
- Look at what John 14:15 (AMP) says, "If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands."
- If you love me, YOU WILL!
- That is the real meaning of this verse.
- It means out of a love relationship, you will have no problem doing what God asks you to do.
- But if you remove the love, you will struggle and completely fail in being able to follow His commands.
- If you are having difficulty doing what God has asked you to do, focus on your Love relationship with Him.
- Jesus said, In Matt. 22: 37, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment."
- He said - "You Must"
- Not, it may be a good idea to love Him, but "You Must"
- "You Must" is a requirement.
- "You must" means that it is absolutely necessary!
- Today, Fall in Love with Him all over again.
- Begin getting in His Word an reading about His extreme love for you!
- Crave for Him!
- Hide His word in your Heart! (Ps. 119:11)
- Fill yourself up with His Word.
- Let that Fuel your passion for Him.
- Then, stay focused on Jesus.
- He is "the object of your affection.
- Then watch the joy come back!
- Have a great Wednesday!
